انقاذ حياة طفلة في عقدها الأول من ورم ضخم ضاغط على الدماغ في مستشفى المواساة بالخبر

بفضل الله وتوفيقه تمكن الفريق الطبي في مستشفى المواساة بالخبر من انقاذ حياة طفلة في عقدها الأول كانت تعاني من ورم ضخم ضاغط على الدماغ كاد أن يودي بحياتها.
فقد بدأت الطفلة بالشكوى من صداع وقيء مستمر مع تذبذب في درجة الوعي، وبعد زيارة عدة مستشفيات خارج المملكة قرر والد الطفلة التوجه بها فورا الى قسم الطوارئ بمستشفى المواساة بالخبر، حيث تم استقبال الحالة وعمل جميع الفحوصات والأشعة اللازمة، وفي أقل من نصف ساعة تم تشخيص الحالة و تأكد وجود روم ضخم ضاغط على الدماغ، ونتيجة لذلك تم ارسالها وتنويمها بقسم العناية المركزة العصبية للأطفال، ونتيجة لاستمرار تدهور مستوى الوعي وعدم استقرار العلامات الحيوية أعطيت محلول المانيتول والذي يساعد في تخفيف ضغط الدماغ بشكل مؤقت استعدادا للعملية .

أخبار متعلقة الضمان الصحي: صرف تعويض البدل في الوثيقة خلال 15 يوم عملمجلس الوزراء.. قرارات ومحطات مهمة في تاريخ المملكةوبعد معاينة الحالة من قبل أخصائي جراحة المخ والأعصاب تأكد بأن الحالة حرجة للغاية ولا وقت لإضاعته، وعلى الفور تم التواصل مع استشاري جراحة المخ والأعصاب الدكتور/ سلطان الصيعري الذي قام بالاجتماع مع والدي الطفلة مبيناً لهم مدى خطورة الحالة، وأن كل لحظة تمر بدون اجراء العملية الجراحية سيؤدي الى غيبوبة ومن ثم الى الوفاة لا سمح الله، وفي مثل هذه الحالات لا يتم طلب أشعة الرنين المغناطيسي وغيرها والتي عادة ما تطلب في الحالات غير الطارئة، وتساعد الجراح في التعامل مع الورم بشكل دقيق، ولكن الوضع كان مختلفاً فأي تأخير لسبب أو لآخر سيُعرض حياة الطفلة للخطر، وبعد طمأنة والدي الطفلة بأن مستشفى المواساة بالخبر لديه من الكوادر المؤهلة تأهيلاً عالياً، بالإضافة إلى وجود أحدث الأجهزة و التقنيات التي تضمن الحصول على نتائج ممتازة تضاهي مثيلاتها العالمية، وأكبر دليل على ذلك هو تشخيص المريضة في أقل من نصف ساعة بقسم الطوارئ ونقلها مباشرة الى القسم المختص ومن ثم اجراء العملية بعد موافقة الأهل .
بعد ذلك أُخذت المريضة إلى غرفة العمليات في حدود الساعة 11 مساءا، وكان الهدف واضحاً هو تخفيف الضغط عن الدماغ واستئصال ما يمكن استئصاله والتعامل مع ما تبقى في وقت لاحق، وبفضل الله وحمده تم استئصال الورم بالكامل ولم تعد المريضة بحاجة إلى عملية أخرى، وهذا ما أكدته الأشعة المغناطيسية للدماغ، وقد استغرقت العلمية قرابة الخمس ساعات.
وفي صباح اليوم التالي تلاشت جميع الأعراض من صداع وقيء مع عودة الوعي إلى مستواه الطبيعي، وفي أقل من أسبوع خرجت الطفلة الى بيتها بين أهلها وذويها وهي في أتم الصحة والعافية.
