مريض ستيني يعود للمشي بعد سبعة أعوام في رحلة البحث عن العلاج

نجح مستشفى دله نمار، في إجراء عملية جراحية معقدة لمريض في الستين من عمره لاستئصال ورم نادر كان يضغط بقوة على الشرايين الرئيسية لفخذ المريض، لمدة سبع سنوات، أدى لإعاقة حركة المشي لديه.
جاء ذلك تبعا بعد مراجعة المريض للمستشفى، حيث بدأ الفريق الطبي المختص بإجراءات الفحص السريري للمريض، من تحاليل وصور للأشعة، التي أظهرت الورم الذي يبلغ وزنه 6 كيلو جرام، وبطول يصل إلى 36 سم، ويغطي التجويف الداخلي للفخذ و يضغط على شرايين الفخذ، فتم على الفور وضع الخطة العلاجية اللازمة، حيث تقرر إجراء استئصال جراحي للورم.

وقال د. الربيع:" تعتبر هذه الحالة المرضية من الحالات المعقدة القليلة في المملكة نتيجة لكبر حجم الورم والظروف الصحية الملازمة للمريض، ولكن بفضل الله أولا ومن ثم كفاءة الطاقم الطبي تكللت العملية بالنجاح، واستطاع المريض مغادرة المستشفى يمشي على قدميه بعد سبعة أعوام من التحديات ورحلة البحث عن العلاج"

وعبر المريض عن سعادته الكبيرة بعد إجراء العملية، مستبشرا بحياة جديدة، حيث أنه لأول مرة يمشي على قدميه بشكل طبيعي منذ سبعة أعوام، وذلك بعد رحلة عناء ومشقة طويلة.
