استقبل معالي الأمين العام لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي حسين إبراهيم طه، في جاكرتا اليوم ، معالي وزيرة خارجية جمهورية إندونيسيا ريتنو مارسودي.
واستعرض الأمين العام خلال اللقاء، القضايا التي تحتل الصدارة في جدول أعمال المنظمة،بما في ذلك الوضع في أفغانستان، والقضية الفلسطينية، والإسلاموفوبيا، والوضع في منطقة الساحل وبحيرة تشاد، مشيدًا بالدور النشط الذي تؤديه إندونيسيا في إطار منظمة التعاون الإسلامي.
من جهتها شددت وزيرة خارجية إندونيسيا، على ضرورة مكافحة الإسلاموفوبيا , مؤكدة استعداد إندونيسيا للعمل بشكل وثيق مع منظمة التعاون الإسلامي بشأن هذه المسألة ، إلى جانب تقديمها أفكارًا بشأن كيفية دعم أفغانستان على نحو أفضل داخل منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، مجددة دعم بلدها الكامل للفلسطينيين، والتأكيد على الدور القيادي الذي يجب أن تضطلع به منظمة التعاون الإسلامي لاستعادة السلام في فلسطين واحترام حقوق الفلسطينيين.
وبحث الجانبان قضية التعاون الثنائي بين إندونيسيا ومنظمة التعاون الإسلامي، واتفقا على استكشاف بعض مجالات التعاون بين الطرفين.
