الرئاسة الفلسطينية: الفيتو الأمريكي يشجع إسرائيل على مواصلة جرائمها في غزة ولبنان

أدانت الرئاسة الفلسطينية، استخدام الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، حق النقض "الفيتو"، في مجلس الأمن الدولي لمنع اتخاذ قرار يدعو إلى وقف إطلاق النار ووقف العدوان الإسرائيلي في قطاع غزة.
وأكدت الرئاسة في بيان صحفي بحسب وكالة وفا الفلسطينية، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، أن استخدام الإدارة الأميركية لحق النقض للمرة الرابعة، يشجّع الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الاستمرار في جرائمه التي يرتكبها ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، والشعب اللبناني الشقيق، وفي تحديه لجميع قرارات الشرعية الدولية والقانون الدولي، وفي مقدمتها فتوى محكمة العدل الدولية التي صدرت في قرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، والتي دعت لوقف العدوان، وإنهاء الاحتلال، والانسحاب الإسرائيلي من قطاع غزة، ما يجعلها تتحمل مسؤولية استمرار العدوان على شعبنا وأرضنا.
وشددت الرئاسة، على أن مطالب دولة فلسطين من مجلس الأمن ومن المجتمع الدولي كانت واضحة في استصدار قرار تحت الفصل السابع لوقف العدوان ووقف إطلاق النار وجرائم الإبادة التي ترتكبها إسرائيل ضد شعبنا الأعزل، بالإضافة إلى التأكيد على أهمية دور وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين "أونروا"، وضرورة استمرار عملها وتقديم الدعم لها، كما جاء في قرار القمة العربية الإسلامية التي عقدت في الرياض.
وطالبت الرئاسة، المجتمع الدولي، وخاصة مجلس الأمن الدولي ودوله الأعضاء، بتحمل مسؤولياتهم تجاه الشعب الفلسطيني، بالعمل الفوري على وقف العدوان المتواصل، والكارثة الإنسانية، والمجاعة التي يتعرض لها شعبنا في قطاع غزة.
وحيّت الرئاسة، مواقف الدول العشر المنتخبة في مجلس الأمن لمحاولاتها تمرير هذا القرار في مجلس الأمن، والشكر موصول للدول دائمة العضوية التي صوتت لصالح القرار، مطالبة مجلس الأمن بتحمل مسؤوليته في حماية الشعب الفلسطيني، وصيانة الأمن والسلم الدوليين، عبر تطبيق قرارات الشرعية الدولية والقانون الدولي على دولة الاحتلال، التي تعطلها الإدارة الأميركية، وصولًا لتجسيد قيام دولة فلسطين بعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
