رئيس الدولة ووزير الدفاع الأمريكي يبحثان هاتفياً تطورات الأوضاع الخطِرة

تلقى صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة «حفظه الله» اتصالاً هاتفياً من لويد أوستن وزير الدفاع في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية.
وبحث سموه والوزير الأميركي خلال الاتصال مختلف جوانب التعاون والعمل المشترك بين دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والولايات المتحدة في المجالات والشؤون الدفاعية في إطار العلاقات الاستراتيجية التي تجمع البلدين وتناولا تطورات الأوضاع الخطيرة التي تشهدها المنطقة والتصعيد الذي يهدد باتساع دائرة العنف وعدم الاستقرار الذي يزعزع الأمن في منطقة الشرق الأوسط ويقوض فرص تحقيق السلام فيها.
وشدد سموه على أولوية حماية أرواح المدنيين وفق القانون الإنساني الدولي والعمل على تأمين ممرات إنسانية عاجلة لإيصال المساعدات الإغاثية والطبية إلى قطاع غزة في ظل تفاقم الأوضاع الإنسانية الصعبة التي يواجهها المدنيون في القطاع.
وأكد صاحب السمو رئيس الدولة ضرورة تكثيف الجهود الإقليمية والدولية لإيجاد أفق سياسي واضح للوصول إلى السلام العادل والشامل لصالح جميع شعوب المنطقة وبما يحفظ الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين.
