مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر يستأصل ورماً عظمياً نادراً غطى على لوح الكتف بعملية غير تقليدية

أنهى مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، معاناة طفل عمره "10" سنوات مع ورم عظمي نادر غطى على عظمة لوح الكتف، بعملية دقيقة غير تقليدية تم الدخول فيها بشق طوله لا يتجاوز "3" سم، وبدون التاثير على العضلات والأعصاب المجاورة.
وقال د.عبدالرحمن الرفاعي استشاري جراحة العظام وعظام الأطفال والتشوهات والحوادث وجراحات مفصل الورك المتقدمة، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج، أن الطفل عانى لمدة تتجاوز السنتين من ألم بالكتف دون تعرضه لأي إصابة، وراجع المستشفى بعدما طرأت تطورات على حالته الصحية، بإزدياد حدة الألم وبروز عظمة الكتف إلى الخارج، مع انحسار متزايد في نطاق حركة الكتف.
وأضاف د.الرفاعي الحاصل على زمالة جامعة بيرن السويسرية، أن المريض خضع لعدة فحوصات طبية دقيقة، وأظهرت صور الأشعة المغناطيسية التشخيصية إصابته بورم عظمي غضروفي نادر أمام عظمة لوح الكتف، ويغطي على "90%" من العظم، وهذا موضع عالي الحساسية، إذ يجاور القفص الصدري وقريب جداً من الرئة، وكذلك الأعصاب المغذية للعضلات.
وأوضح أن الطفل أجريت له عملية متقدمة ودقيقة تم فيها استئصال الورم بالكامل بالدخول عبر شق صغير من زاوية لوح الكتف، ولا يتجاوز طوله "3" سم، وتكللت العملية التي استمرت لـ"45" دقيقة ولله الحمد بالنجاح الباهر، ونقل المريض إلى غرفة التنويم مباشرة حيث أمضى نحو "24" ساعة قيد الرعاية الطبية الحثيثة، قبل أن يغادر بحالة صحية جيدة إلى المنزل، ولاحقاً تخلص من الآلام التي عانى منها لمدة عامين، وبعد نحو أسبوعين من العملية استعاد الحركة الطبيعية لمفصل الكتف.
ووصف د. الرفاعي الحالة بالنادرة مضيفاً أنه من غير المألوف نشوء الأورام بلوح الكتف، الذي يعد مكاناً حساساً لقربه من الرئة والأعصاب المغذية للعضلات، ومثل الحفاظ على سلامة هذه الأعضاء الحساسة تحدياً للفريق الطبي الذي – بفضل الله- نجح في إجراء العملية بمهنية ومهارة عالية، وساعده في ذلك الإمكانيات والتجهيزات الطبية الكبيرة التي يحظى بها المستشفى.
