It added that over 900 people have been killed and 6,000 injured while waiting for aid, either due to direct attacks or complications related to hunger and lack of medical care.

Trump: Hamas Does Not Want to Reach an Agreement on Gaza

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Friday, July 25, 2025, that Hamas does not want to reach an agreement regarding a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.

This came in remarks made to reporters at the White House, one day after Trump's Middle East peace envoy, Steve Wittekoff, announced that the U.S. administration had decided to call back its negotiating team to the country for consultations, following Hamas's latest proposal, according to Reuters.

Trump added, "We have withdrawn from the Gaza negotiations, and this is unfortunate. Hamas has not cared about reaching any deal, and Hamas must be pursued and eliminated."

He clarified that Hamas knows what will happen after all the hostages are recovered, and this is why they do not want to reach an agreement.

Hamas: The Ball is Now in Israel’s Court

A member of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Bassam Naeem, confirmed on Friday, July 25, 2025, that the recent statements by U.S. envoy Steve Wittekov are inconsistent with the reality of negotiations and serve the agenda of the Israeli occupation.

In a press statement, Naeem added, "A few days ago, Wittekov acknowledged significant progress in the understandings, which makes his negative statements unjustified, except as an attempt to pressure for the benefit of Netanyahu’s government."

He pointed out that Hamas’s response to the mediators' proposal was positive and constructive, and the mediators informed them that the other side had also shown responsiveness, which paved the way for a new round of negotiations.

Naeem confirmed that the central point in the recent discussions was the withdrawal maps and redeployment, after reaching an agreement on aid files and the negotiation schedule during the ceasefire, ensuring its continuity toward a permanent ceasefire.

He noted that there was a "general consensus achieved regarding a prisoner swap deal, with the details to be negotiated later."

Naeem clarified that "Hamas showed great flexibility in response to the suffering of Gaza’s residents, despite the lack of trust in the occupation’s intentions and its desire to continue the war and ethnic cleansing."

He emphasized that Hamas believes what they have proposed paves the way for a real agreement if the occupation has the will, stressing that the ball is now in Israel's court to end the war instead of exploiting it politically.

He said, "Wittekov is invited to play his role as an honest mediator and pressure the Israeli government to withdraw and end the war, paving the way for stability in the region."

Weitzkoff, in Washington and asked for assistance in relocating hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to countries like Libya, Ethiopia, and Indonesia.

Abbas also appreciated Starmer’s call to end displacement, which Britain firmly rejects, and his confirmation that a ceasefire will place the United Kingdom on the path toward recognizing the State of Palestine and implementing the two-state solution, ensuring peace and security for both Palestinians and Israelis.

In this context, President Mahmoud Abbas called on countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine to do so, emphasizing the importance of Palestine obtaining full membership in the United Nations.

US Report: No Evidence Hamas Stole US Humanitarian Aid Supplies for Gaza

A US government internal analysis has refuted claims made by Israel and the US administration, after it found no evidence that Hamas systematically stole US-funded humanitarian supplies. This challenges the main logic presented by Israel and the US in supporting a new, armed humanitarian aid mechanism.

The analysis, which has not been previously published, was conducted by a branch of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and completed in late June. It examined 156 incidents of theft or loss of US-funded supplies reported by US partner aid organizations from October 2023 to May 2025.

In a brief statement, the movement added that "the statements of U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff reflect the position of the Nazi enemy government and reflect its intentions to continue the aggression and undermine the efforts of the mediators."

For its part, Hamas expressed its astonishment at the statements made by U.S. envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, in which he suggested that Hamas was unwilling to reach a ceasefire in Gaza. Hamas reaffirmed its commitment to continue talks on a potential agreement.

In a statement, Hamas emphasized its determination to complete the negotiations and engage in them to help overcome obstacles and reach a permanent ceasefire agreement.

She added, "If something that does not yet exist is recognized on paper, it may give the false impression that the problem has been solved when, in fact, it has not."

Gaza Tribal Authority Rejects Airdrop of Aid: "We Don’t Need More Risk to Our People’s Lives"

In a statement issued on Saturday, the committee firmly rejected this approach, noting that previous airdrops had resulted in civilian casualties due to aid packages falling randomly on people's heads or landing in dangerous areas — posing a real threat to residents’ lives rather than easing their suffering.
