صرح مصدر مسؤول أنه بدعوة من صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، يلتقي في مدينة الرياض، يوم الجمعة 22 شعبان 1446هـ الموافق 21 فبراير 2025م، قادة دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، وجلالة ملك المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وفخامة رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية في لقاء أخوي غير رسمي.

ويأتي هذا اللقاء في سياق اللقاءات الودية الخاصة التي جرت العادة على عقدها بشكل دوري منذ سنوات عديدة بين قادة مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وجمهورية مصر العربية، وذلك في إطار العلاقات الأخوية الوثيقة التي تجمع القادة والتي تسهم في تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين دول المجلس والأردن ومصر.
