ورحب رئيس مجلس الشيوخ التايلندي بالجروان والوفد المرافق له، مشيدا بدور المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام في دعم قيم التسامح والسلام حول العالم.
من جانبه قدم الجروان شرحا مختصرا عن جهود المجلس وفعالياته حول العالم في دعم التسامح والسلام في شتى المجالات ولا سيما في المجال البرلماني، عبر عضوية أكثر من 100 برلمان حول العالم فيه، وكذلك المجال الأكاديمي والتعليمي من خلال التعاون مع ما يزيد عن 50 مؤسسة تعليمية وجامعة.
