نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، في إجراء عملية لإصلاح فتق مريئي، وارتخاء بصمام المعدة باستخدام بالمنظار، لمراجع يبلغ من العمر "48" عاماً، عانى لفترة طويلة تجاوزت "8" أعوام، من ارتجاع المرئي المزمن، وظل مداوماً على أدوية الارتجاع بسبب الحرقان المستمر.

أخبار متعلقة أقصاها 20 ألف ريال.. قائمة بعقوبات مخالفة أحكام كاميرات المراقبةسمو امير الشرقية يرعى ملتقى علاج الإدمان العالمي الثاني وتنظمه جمعية "تعافي"وأضاف د. البقيعي الحاصل على البورد الأميركي، أن الفريق الطبي أخضعه إلى فحوصات طبية دقيقة، من ضمنها منظار مبدئي استكشافي، أظهر وجود التهاب من الدرجة الثانية بالمريء، وذلك على الرغم من استمراره على أدوية الارتجاع، إضافة إلى ارتخاء في صمام المعدة من الدرجة الثالثة. فتم إخضاع الحالة للدراسة على ضوء نتائج الفحوصات، والوصول إلى خطة علاجية تناسب الحالة، ارتكزت على التدخل عبر المنظار، باستخدام التقنية الألمانية GERD-X، وتم في التدخل الطبي إصلاح الفتق المريئي الذي بلغ حجمه "2" سم، كما تم أيضاً معالجة ارتخاء الصمام، وذلك عبر الصمام الفموي، واستمرت العملية لنحو "30" دقيقة، وتكللت في النهاية جهود الفريق الطبي ولله الحمد بالنجاح التام، وتمت مراقبته في غرفة التنويم لمدة "24" ساعة، غادر بعدها المستشفى وهو بحالة صحية ونفسية ممتازة. وأكدت فحوصات ما بعد العملية شفاء المراجع بشكل كامل، حيث تخلص من كافة الأعراض التي جاءت به إلى المستشفى، ولم يعد بحاجة إلى استخدام أدوية الارتجاع، وعاد لممارسة حياته بصورة طبيعية.
