وزير الشباب يناقش خطط التطوير مع مجلس إدارة الاتحاد المصري للألعاب الإلكترونية

التقى الدكتور أشرف صبحي، وزير الشباب والرياضة، مجلس إدارة الاتحاد المصري للألعاب الإلكترونية برئاسة شريف عبد الباقي، وبحضور عدد من أعضاء مجلس الإدارة، لبحث استراتيجية وخطة عمل الاتحاد خلال المرحلة المقبلة، بما يتماشى مع تطلعات الدولة لدعم الرياضات الرقمية.
وتناول اللقاء استعدادات الاتحاد للمشاركة في دورة الألعاب الإفريقية لعام 2027، التي تستضيفها مصر، والتي ستشهد ولأول مرة في تاريخها إدراج الرياضات الإلكترونية ضمن منافساتها، مما يعكس التطور الكبير الذي تشهده الرياضة الرقمية على المستويين المحلي والإفريقي.
كما ناقش الاجتماع إطلاق دوري مصري للرياضات الإلكترونية، يستهدف إشراك أكبر عدد ممكن من اللاعبين الشباب، بالإضافة إلى خطة الاتحاد للوصول إلى تسجيل مليون لاعب ضمن قواعد بياناته بحلول نهاية عام 2025.
أكد الدكتور أشرف صبحي أن الرياضات الإلكترونية تمثل أحد أهم المجالات الواعدة التي تستقطب الشباب وتعزز من قدراتهم التكنولوجية والإبداعية، مشيرا إلى دعم الوزارة الكامل للاتحاد المصري للألعاب الإلكترونية لتحقيق أهدافه وتطوير هذه الرياضة في مصر.
وأوضح صبحي قائلا: "إن الرياضات الإلكترونية لم تعد مجرد هواية بل أصبحت منصة متكاملة تجمع بين الابتكار والتنافسية، ووزارة الشباب والرياضة تؤمن بدورها في بناء أجيال تمتلك مهارات تقنية تواكب متطلبات العصر الرقمي، نعمل على تسخير كل الإمكانات لدعم هذا القطاع الواعد الذي يحمل افاقا واسعة لتحقيق إنجازات رياضية جديدة على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي”.
وأشار الوزير إلى أهمية تطوير البنية التحتية للرياضات الإلكترونية وإطلاق مبادرات مبتكرة بالتعاون مع القطاع الخاص لجذب المزيد من الشباب وتعزيز حضور مصر كوجهة رائدة في هذا المجال على المستويين الإفريقي والعالمي.
