اندلع حريق في أحد المصانع الواقعة على طريق الميناء في مدينة الدمام، ممتدًا بالقرب من الحشائش من عدد من المستودعات الواقعة على طريق الميناء في مدينة الدمام، اليوم الأربعاء.
ورصدت كاميرات "اليوم" أعمدة الدخان المتصاعدة من الحريق، والذي أدى إلى انتشار النيران في مساحة واسعة من الحشائش قبل أن تنتقل إلى إحدى المستودعات.
وأكدت مصادر لـ"اليوم" أن فرق الدفاع المدني في المنطقة الشرقية باشرت عمليات الإطفاء، وتعمل على إخماد الحريق ومنع امتداده إلى المستودعات القريبة.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن الحريق لم يسفر عن وقوع أي إصابات حتى الان، فيما لا تزال فرق الدفاع المدني اخماد الحريق والتحقيقات جارية لمعرفة أسباب اندلاعه.
