نشرت المنظمة المصرية لمكافحة المنشطات بيانا رسميا ردت فيه على تصريحات جمال علام رئيس اتحاد الكرة بشأن إيجابية عينة لاعب بيراميدز رمضان صبحي.
وقال جمال علام في تصريحات إذاعية إنه سيتم أخذ عينة أخرى لرمضان صبحي للتأكد من تناول المنشطات أم لا قبل توقيع عقوبة الإيقاف عليه.

في إطار حرص المنظمة المصرية لمكافحة المنشطات "النادو"، على توضيح الأمور المهمة أمام الجميع، وبعد ملاحظة انتشار حالة من الجدل والمعلومات المغلوطة بشأن ما يتعلق بقضايا مكافحة المنشطات، ومنعا للاجتهادات غير الصحيحة المتداولة حاليا، تؤكد المنظمة المصرية لكافحة المنشطات على عدد من النقاط الهامة علي النحو التالي:
أولا: لا يجوز أن تصدر بيانات أو تعليقات على أي أحداث تخص مكافحة المنشطات أو استخدام الشعار الخاص بالمنظمة إلا من خلال المنظمة المصرية لكافحة المنشطات، حتي لا تصدر بيانات خاطئة تتسبب في حدوث جدل وتضر بالرياضيين والرياضة المصرية، ومن يُخالف ذلك يعرض نفسه للمساءلة.
ثانيا: لا تقوم المنظمة المصرية لمكافحة المنشطات بنشر أي تعليقات أو تصريحات أو نشر الإجراءات التي تقوم بها، وذلك طبقا للمعيار الدولي للخصوصية والحفاظ علي سرية المعلومات (ISPPPI).
ثالثا: من حق المنظمة المصرية لمكافحة المنشطات وطبقا للكود الدولي والمعايير الدولية ان تتواجد في جميع البطولات والمنافسات في جميع الرياضات سواء كانت فردية أو جماعية لسحب عينات الكشف المنشطات، كما يحق للمنظمة المصرية لمكافحة المنشطات أن تسحب عينات من أي رياضي في الرياضات الفردية أو الجماعية في أي وقت وأي مكان خارج المنافسة دون إخطار مسبق (في المنزل - النادي - المعسكر - التدريب -.... إلخ) حسب للخطة الموضوعة من قبل المنظمة المصرية لمكافحة المنشطات طبقًا للمعيار الدولي للاختبارات والتحريات (ISTI)
