أكد رئيس مجلس الوزراء المصري، مصطفى مدبولي، الإثنين، أن الوضع سيتطلب عقودا لعودة قطاع غزة لما كان عليه قبل هجوم السابع من أكتوبر، في حين شدد رئيس الوزراء الأردني، بشر الخصاونة، على ضرورة منع استهداف المدنيين أينما كانوا.
وأتت تصريحات المسؤولَين في جلسة حوارية بشأن غزة على هامش منتدى دافوس الاقتصادي العالمي بالعاصمة السعودية، الرياض.
وقال رئيس الوزراء المصري: "سننتظر عقودا قبل العودة إلى الوضع الذي كان قبل 7 أكتوبر"، مشيرا إلى تدمير المباني والمستشفيات، وأكثر من 70 بالمئة من البنية التحتية في قطاع غزة.
وأكد مدبولي أن أكثر من 85 بالمئة من المساعدات التي وصلت إلى الفلسطينيين في غزة تم جمعها وإرسالها من قبل الحكومة المصرية، والمجتمع المدني المصري، وأن معبر رفح "يعمل على مدار 24 ساعة"، وفق ما نقله موقع "بوابة الأهرام" على لسانه.
من جانبه شدد الخصاونة على أهمية حماية المدنيين ومنع استهدافهم "أينما كانوا"، مضيفا "أن ما حدث في 7 أكتوبر الماضي "نتيجة مباشرة لسبعين عاما من الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ورفض الاعتراف بالحقوق الفلسطينية وتحقيق تطلعات الشعب الفلسطيني ومصيره وإقامة دولته المستقلة على حدود 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية"، وفق ما نقله موقع "رؤيا" الأردني.
واندلعت الحرب إثر هجوم حركة حماس غير المسبوق على مناطق ومواقع محاذية لقطاع غزة في السابع من أكتوبر، والذي أسفر عن مقتل 1200 شخص، معظمهم مدنيون، وبينهم نساء وأطفال، وفق السلطات الإسرائيلية.
وخلال هجوم حماس، خُطف أكثر من 250 شخصا ما زال 129 منهم محتجزين في قطاع غزة، بينهم 34 توفوا على الأرجح، وفق مسؤولين إسرائيليين.
وردا على الهجوم، تعهدت إسرائيل "القضاء على الحركة" المصنفة إرهابية في الولايات المتحدة ودول أخرى، وتنفذ منذ ذلك الحين حملة قصف أتبعت بعمليات برية منذ 27 أكتوبر، ما أسفر عن مقتل أكثر من 34 ألف فلسطيني، معظمهم من النساء والأطفال، وفق ما أعلنته وزارة الصحة التابعة لحماس.
