تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود - حفظه الله -، ينظم مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية يومي 24 و 25 نوفمبر 2024م، في مدينة الرياض، مؤتمراً دولياً بمناسبة مرور 30 عاماً على بدء البرنامج السعودي للتوائم الملتصقة، بمشاركة وزارات (الحرس الوطني، الدفاع، الخارجية، الصحة، التعليم، الإعلام)، وعدد من الجهات المهتمة والعاملة في المجال الطبي والإنساني من منظمات وهيئات دولية إنسانية وصحية وجمعيات ومؤسسات ومختصين وباحثين من مختلف دول العالم، فضلاً عن حضور مجموعة من التوائم برفقة ذويهم من عدة دول، والذين سبق أن أجريت لهم عمليات فصل.

وسيشهد المؤتمر الذي سيعقد على مدى يومين جلسات إنسانية وعلمية وإقامة معرض وفعاليات مصاحبة تُبرز الريادة الدولية للمملكة في المجال الإنساني، والتفوق الطبي بالأخص التميز عبر البرنامج السعودي للتوائم الملتصقة.
