أفادت هيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية، بتسجيل محطات الشبكة الوطنية للرصد الزلزالي التابعة للهيئة زلزالا في الخليج العربي يبعد مسافة 160 كم شمال شرق الخفجي في صباح اليوم الأحد، في تمام الساعة 00:27:09.
وأوضحت الهيئة، أن قوة الزلزال بلغت 4.34 درجة على مقياس ريختر.
