استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز أمير المنطقة الشرقية في مكتب سموه بديوان الإمارة، اليوم الأربعاء، معالي وزير الحج والعمرة الدكتور توفيق بن فوزان الربيعة.
وأشاد سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية بما تقدمه القيادة الحكيمة "رعاها الله" من دعم كبير وخطط استراتيجية لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن وتسخير كل الإمكانيات لخدمة الحجاج منذ وصولهم للمملكة، بالإضافة لتسهيل الإجراءات عبر المنافذ البرية لجميع العابرين، وتطوير الخدمات فيها، بما يعكس التقدم والنهضة التي تشهدها المملكة في مختلف المجالات.

وقدم معالي وزير الحج والعمرة عرضاً لسموه عن خطط الوزارة لتطوير المنافذ البرية في المنطقة الشرقية لاستقبال ضيوف الرحمن خلال رحلة الحج والعمرة، وتطوير منظومة الخدمات لهم وفق أعلى المعايير بما يترجم تطلّعات القيادة الرشيدة لتهيئة الأجواء والتيسير على ضيوف الرحمن، ليؤدّوا عباداتهم في أجواء مفعمة بالهدوء والسكينة.
بالإضافة لتطوير الإجراءات في جميع المنافذ البرية ومنها المنافذ في المنطقة الشرقية والتي ترتبط بدول الخليج العربي عبر ستة منافذ، وتوظيف أحدث التقنية لتقليص وقت إنجاز إجراءات الدخول للمملكة وكذلك المغادرة.
