دشّنت وزارة الصحة مرحلة جديدة متطورة في وصف وصرف الأدوية المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية والخاضعة للرقابة إلكترونيًا، والاستغناء التام عن الوصفة الورقية، وذلك من خلال منصة وطنية للوصف والصرف والرقابة على الأدوية المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية والخاضعة للرقابة. يأتي ذلك في إطار التحول الرقمي ضمن برنامج التحول الصحي، حيث تعمل المنصة على حوكمة الوصف والصرف السليم للأدوية المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية في جميع المنشآت الصحية "الخاصة والحكومية" على مستوى المملكة.

ويمكن من خلال هذا النظام الإلكتروني، المراقبة والمتابعة للأدوية المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية والخاضعة للرقابة بشكل منظّم بما يزيد من السلامة الدوائية لمستخدميها، كما يمكن للمستفيد من هذه الوصفات الإلكترونية الوصول إليها إلكترونيًا، وتحميلها عبر تطبيق "صحتي" بصيغة PDF؛ مما يؤدي إلى تعزيز التنسيق الرقابي في المنشآت الصحية على مستوى الوطن. وتتميز الوصفة الإلكترونية للأدوية المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية والخاضعة للرقابة بتمكين الممارسين الصحيين من الاطلاع على تاريخ الوصفات الطبية للأدوية المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية والخاضعة للرقابة وجميع البيانات الخاصة بها، إضافة إلى الوصف والصرف بين المنشآت المختلفة، كما تتيح تتبع صرف هذا النوع من الأدوية عبر الصيدليات المرخّص لها بصرفها، سواءً الحكومية أو المجتمعية، أو الخاصة، والربط الإلكتروني بين المنشآت الصحية كافة بما يحقق التكامل في تطبيق صحي موحد. ويأتي التحول من النظام الورقي إلى نظام إلكتروني موحد، ضمن جهود وزارة الصحة نحو التحول الرقمي تحت إطار برنامج التحول الصحي، وذلك للإسهام في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، وتحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية على مستوى المملكة.
