السعودية تستثمر في أخطر سلعة استراتيجية في السودان

متابعات- تاق برس- أكد أحمد بن حسن السهبي، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة رانج المحدودة، رغبة بلاده؛ المملكة العربية السعودية في الاستثمار بمجال صناعة السكر، والدخول في شراكة مع شركة السكر السودانية لتأهيل وإعادة إعمار مصانع السكر وزيادة الإنتاج وصولًا للاكتفاء الذاتي والتصدير. وأوضح السهبي أن ذلك يأتي في سياق جهود المملكة في توسيع قاعدة الاستثمارات الخارجية، خاصة مع السودان، مع دعم كامل من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان وولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان.
وأكدت وزيرة الصناعة والتجارة السودانية محاسن علي يعقوب، متانة العلاقات والتقارب الوجداني الذي يربط بين السودان والمملكة العربية السعودية. جاء ذلك خلال لقائها بمكتبها، السهبي والوفد المرافق له بحضور جاد الرب خالد المدير العام لشركة السكر السودانية.
وأشارت الوزيرة إلى أن المملكة العربية السعودية تعد أكبر شريك تجاري للسودان.
واعربت محاسن عن تقدير الحكومة للمملكة لمواقفها الداعمة للسودان في كافة المجالات.
وقالت إن اللقاء يمثل خطوة في الاتجاه الصحيح لتعزيز التواصل بين السودان والسعودية، دفعًا للعلاقات الاستراتيجية.
وقدمت وزيرة التجارة والصناعة السودانية للوفد السعودي شرحًا حول إمكانيات السودان في الإنتاج الزراعي والحيواني، فضلاً عن الثروات المعدنية الجاذبة للاستثمارات الخارجية.
ودعت رجال الأعمال السعوديين للدخول في شراكات مع السودان في مجال الصناعات المرتبطة بالإنتاج الزراعي والحيواني، مع إعطاء الأولوية لإعادة إعمار القطاع الصناعي، خاصة قطاع صناعة السكر والصناعات المرتبطة به، نظرًا لامتلاك السودان ميزات تفضيلية في هذا الجانب.
