جو كوي.. مفاجأة حفل جوائز غولدن غلوب

أعلن القائمون على جوائز غولدن غلوب "Golden Globe Awards" أن الممثل الكوميدي الستاند آب، جو كوي، سيكون مضيفاً لحفل توزيع الجوائز، بنسخته الـ 81، للمرة الأولى له، وسيتم بث الحفل البالغ مدته 3 ساعات، مباشرة على شبكة CBS وأيضاً على "باراماونت بلس"، الأحد 7 يناير (كانون الثاني) 2024.
وقالت رئيسة حفل توزيع جوائز غولدن غلوب، هيلين هوهن: "يسعدنا أن يستضيف جو حفل توزيع جوائز غولدن غلوب السنوي الحادي والثمانين، وأن يجلب طاقته وروح الدعابة لبدء موسم جوائز هوليوود.

من جانبه، قال كوي: "لقد صعدت إلى الكثير من المراحل حول العالم في مسيرتي، ولكن هذه المرحلة ستكون مميزة للغاية. أنا متحمس جداً لاستضافة حفل توزيع جوائز غولدن غلوب هذا العام. هذه هي اللحظة التي يجب أن أجعل فيها عائلتي الفلبينية فخورة".

وحطمت جولة كوي الأخيرة بعنوان "Funny Is Funny World Tour" أرقام مبيعات قياسية في بعض الأماكن المرموقة حول العالم.
وأصدر كوي 5 عروض ارتجالية خاصة حصلت على تقييم عالٍ على Comedy Central وNetflix، بما في ذلك أحدث عروضه الخاصة على Live From The Los Angeles Forum.
ويجسد شخصية The Monkey King في فيلم الرسوم المتحركة الطويل "Tiger's Apprentice" الذي سيعرض لأول مرة في 2 فبراير (شباط) 2024.
