أمير المنطقة الشرقية يُدشِّن التمرين التعبوي “استجابة 15”

دشَّن صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز أمير المنطقة الشرقية بديوان الإمارة اليوم، التمرين التعبوي لفرضية مكافحة التلوث البحري بالزيت “استجابة 15″، بحضور الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الوطني للرقابة على الالتزام البيئي المهندس علي الغامدي وعددٍ من قيادات المركز.
كما دشَّن سموّه عربة “سيل” المتنقلة لمراقبة البيئة البحرية باستخدام أحدث التقنيات مثل الطائرات المسيرة المتصلة بالعربة، وغواصين لتقيم الأثر البيئي.
واستمع سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية لشرح مفصل حول الفرضية، بما في ذلك الأدوار المتعلقة بالجهات المشاركة في التمرين، مثمنًا دعم القيادة الرشيدة – أيدها الله – للأعمال البيئية بما يعكس اهتمامها بالإنسان ومكتسباته، والدور الحيوي الذي تلعبه في الحفاظ على ثروات الوطن، واستقراره اجتماعيًا، ونموه اقتصاديًا، سعيًا لتحقيق مستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للبيئة في المنطقة الشرقية وباقي مناطق المملكة.

ويهدف التمرين لتحقيق أقصى درجات الجاهزية والتأهب لمواجهة أي تلوث بحري في شواطئ المملكة، وذلك وفقًا للخطة الوطنية لمكافحة التلوث بالزيت.
وتشمل فرضية التمرين تنفيذ الخطة الوطنية لمكافحة التلوث البحري بالزيت في المنطقة الشرقية، بمشاركة أكثر من 50 جهة حكومية وخاصة ذات صلة بالمجالات المعنية بهذا التمرين.
