وأوضح معالي أمين المنطقة الشرقية أن مركز الصورة التشغيلية يُعد أحد المبادرات النوعية التي تعكس حرص الأمانة على توظيف التقنيات الحديثة في إدارة المدن، من خلال بناء منظومة تشغيلية متكاملة تعتمد على الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء، بما يتيح متابعة مؤشرات الأداء الحضري وتحليل البيانات المكانية والتشغيلية لدعم اتخاذ القرار بشكل فوري وفعّال.
وأضاف أن المركز يضم مجموعة من المشاريع التقنية المتقدمة، من أبرزها مشروع الكاميرات الذكية الذي يسهم في تعزيز السلامة العامة عبر شبكة من الكاميرات المزودة بخاصية التحليل الآلي، ومشروع الإنارة الذكية الذي يتيح التحكم الآلي في أعمدة الإنارة لترشيد استهلاك الطاقة ورفع كفاءة الصيانة، إلى جانب مشاريع أخرى في مجالات رصد ومعالجة التشوه البصري، والمنصة الذكية الموحدة التي تدمج بيانات وأنظمة المدينة في واجهة تشغيلية واحدة تسهم في تسريع الاستجابة وتحسين كفاءة التشغيل.
وأشار إلى أن المركز يُعد أحد المكونات الرئيسة لمنظومة التحول الذكي في مدن المنطقة الشرقية، ويعكس توجه الأمانة نحو تطوير بيئة حضرية مبتكرة ومستدامة قائمة على البيانات المفتوحة، بما يسهم في تحسين جودة الخدمات البلدية وتعزيز كفاءة التشغيل وتطوير البنية التحتية التقنية الداعمة للمشهد الحضري، تحقيقًا لمستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 وبرامجها الطموحة في التحول الرقمي.
