اليوم.. الشيوخ يستقبل الأعضاء المعينين ويعقد أولي جلساته السبت المقبل

تبدأ الأمانة العامة لمجلس الشيوخ، اليوم الخميس، في استقبال الأعضاء المعينين بقرار رئيس الجمهورية، حيث تنظم الأمانة العامة برئاسة المستشار محمود عتمان أمين عام مجلس الشيوخ حفل استقبال رسمي للأعضاء المائة المعينين بقرار من رئيس الجمهورية في الفصل التشريعي الثاني بمقر المجلس بالتحرير.
ويبدأ استقبال أعضاء مجلس الشيوخ المعينين بقرار رئيس الجمهورية، من الساعة العاشرة صباحًا وحتى الرابعة مساءً يتسلم خلال الحفل أعضاء مجلس الشيوخ المعينين، بطاقة العضوية، وشعار المجلس، وحقيبة تحتوي على التابلت، والدستور واللائحة الداخلية للمجلس.
هذا ومن المقرر انعقاد الجلسة الافتتاحية لمجلس الشيوخ الجديد، السبت المقبل، برئاسة النائب محمد أبو العلا، رئيس الحزب العربي الناصري، كونه أكبر الأعضاء سنا، حيث أصدر رئيس الجمهورية، القرار رقم 580، والذي نشرته الجريدة الرسمية، بدعوة مجلس الشيوخ الجديد، للانعقاد في الفصل التشريعي الثاني يوم السبت المقبل.
ووفقا للائحة الداخلية لمجلس الشيوخ، يترأس الجلسة الافتتاحية أكبر أعضاء المجلس سنا، ويعاونه اثنين من الأعضاء الأصغر سنا.
