رئيس المالديف: "نؤمن بأن المملكة هي القائدة للأمة الإسلامية"

استقبل رئيس جمهورية المالديف الدكتور محمد معز، في القصر الرئاسي بالعاصمة ماليه، اليوم الثلاثاء، فضيلة إمام وخطيب المسجد النبوي الشيخ الدكتور صلاح بن محمد البدير، الذي يزور جمهورية المالديف.
وذلك ضمن برنامج زيارة أئمة الحرمين الشريفين، الذي تنظمه وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد في المملكة العربية السعودية، بالتنسيق مع وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية بجمهورية المالديف.

وأشار إلى أن الوزارة قدمت مؤخراً أكثر من 25 ألف نسخة من المصحف الشريف، وقال:“لا أستطيع أن أذكر القائمة كاملة، فهناك أشياء كثيرة قدمت، ونحن نرحب في المالديف بهذه الجهود من أعماق قلوبنا”.
وأكد أن جامع الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز يُعد رمزًا كبيرًا يعبر عن عمق العلاقة الوطيدة بين المملكة والمالديف، قائلاً:“مشاعري كبيرة وطيبة تجاه المملكة، ونحن نؤمن دائماً بأن المملكة هي القائدة لهذه الأمة الإسلامية”.

من جانبه، عبّر فضيلة الشيخ الدكتور صلاح بن محمد البدير عن شكره وامتنانه لفخامة الرئيس على حفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة، ناقلاً لفخامته تحيات وتقدير قيادة المملكة، ومشيداً بما لمسه من مشاعر صادقة تجاه المملكة وقيادتها وشعبها.
وأكد أن هذه الزيارة تأتي ضمن برنامج نوعي تنفذه وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد، بقيادة الوزير الشيخ الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ، ويهدف إلى تعزيز حضور أئمة الحرمين الشريفين في الدول الإسلامية، وترسيخ منهج الوسطية والاعتدال، وتعزيز روابط الأخوة الإسلامية والتواصل الثقافي والدعوي بين الشعوب الإسلامية.
