أمير الشرقية: الاهتمام بصحة الإنسان يأتي في مقدمة أولويات القيادة

رعى الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز أمير المنطقة الشرقية، في ديوان الإمارة اليوم، حفل تدشين مبادرة "سكرك بأمان" في موسمها الخامس، ومبادرة "الشرقية مبصرة"، التي تنظمها الجمعية السعودية للسكر والغدد الصماء، وتُقام خلال شهر نوفمبر الحالي، بالشراكة مع عدد من الجهات الحكومية والشركات التجارية، مستهدفةً أكثر من 15,000 مستفيد في محافظات المنطقة الشرقية.
وأكد سموه أن الاهتمام بصحة الإنسان يأتي في مقدمة أولويات القيادة الرشيدة – أيدها الله – انطلاقًا من رؤيتها الطموحة لتعزيز جودة الحياة، مشيرًا إلى أن القطاع الصحي يحظى بدعم مستمر لتطوير خدماته وتمكين الجهات الصحية والمجتمعية من أداء دورها في الوقاية والعلاج ونشر الوعي الصحي، بما يسهم في بناء مجتمع أكثر صحة وازدهارًا.
وثمّن سموه المبادرات النوعية التي تقدمها الجمعيات المتخصصة، ودورها في تعزيز الوعي الصحي والوقاية والكشف المبكر، مؤكدًا أن استمرار مثل هذه البرامج يجسد دور القطاع غير الربحي في رفع مستوى الصحة العامة وتعزيز جودة الحياة لأفراد المجتمع.
من جانبه أوضح رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية السعودية للسكر والغدد الصماء عبدالعزيز التركي خلال كلمته، أن الجمعية تأسست عام 1984م كأول جمعية صحية متخصصة في المملكة، وهي عضو في الاتحاد الدولي للسكر منذ عام 1987م، وتهدف إلى التوعية والتثقيف والكشف المبكر عن السكري والسمنة عبر برامج نوعية، من أبرزها مشروع "الأسوار ليست عائقًا" بالشراكة مع مديرية السجون وتجمع الشرقية الصحي، ومبادرة الوحدة المتنقلة للكشف المبكر، ونادي الابتسامات الحلوة لدعم الأطفال المصابين بالسكري، ومشروع المدرسة الصحية، بالإضافة إلى مبادرة "أيادي الخير" لدعم المرضى وإقامة مؤتمرات علمية متخصصة.
وأعرب التركي عن شكره لسمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه ورعايته المستمرة لبرامج الجمعية، ولجميع الشركاء والداعمين والمتطوعين والإعلاميين على جهودهم في إنجاح هذه المبادرات ذات الأثر الإنساني والاجتماعي.
بدوره استعرض رئيس اللجنة العلمية في الجمعية الدكتور راشد الجوير، أهداف مبادرة "سكرك بأمان"، والتي تهدف إلى الكشف المبكر عن السكري والسمنة في القطاعات الحكومية والخاصة، ورفع مستوى الوعي الصحي بأهمية الفحص الدوري، فيما تستهدف مبادرة "الشرقية مبصرة" الكشف عن اعتلال شبكية العين الناتج عن السكري باستخدام تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي للحد من مخاطر فقدان البصر. وفي ختام الحفل، كرّم سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية شركاء النجاح والجهات الداعمة.
