علق طاهر النونو المستشار الإعلامي لرئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة حماس، على إطلاق سراح رهينتين، قائلا:" تم الإفراج عن السيدتين بوساطة مصرية مشكورة".
وقال طاهر النونو في مداخلة هاتفية مع الإعلامي عمرو أديب في برنامج " الحكاية " المذاع على قناة " إم بي سي مصر": "جهود مصرية مستمرة للتخفيف عن الشعب الفلسطيني وحل العديد من القضايا".
وأضاف طاهر النونو: "تم إطلاق صراح سيدتين لأسباب ودواع إنسانية ولرغبة المقاومة في إغلاق هذا الملف".
وتابع طاهر النونو: "قرار الإفراج عن الرهان والأسرى يكون بناء على قرار المقاومة في التوقيت الذي تجده المقاومة مناسبا".
وأكمل طاهر النونو: "هناك مسارات يمكن أن تؤدي إلى الإفراج عن الأسرى".
