تلقى حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة عاهل البلاد المعظم القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة برقية تعزية من سمو الشيخ عيسى بن علي آل خليفة وكيل وزارة شؤون مجلس الوزراء. وأعرب سموه عن بالغ الحزن والأسى في استشهاد ضابط وفرد وإصابة عدد من منتسبي قوة دفاع البحرين البواسل المشاركين في الواجب الوطني المقدس للدفاع عن الحدود الجنوبية للمملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة، ضمن قوات التحالف العربي المشاركة في عمليتي عاصفة الحزم وإعادة الأمل إثر العمل العدواني الغادر، سائلاً الله تعالى أن يتغمد شهداء الوطن الأبرار بواسع رحمته وغفرانه، وأن يسكنهم فسيح جناته مع الشهداء والصديقين، وأن يلهم ذويهم جميل الصبر والسلوان، وأن يمن على المصابين والجرحى بالشفاء العاجل.
