كرم مدير إدارة المنطقة الشرقية للقوات البرية الملكية السعودية ورئيس لجنة الشهداء والمصابين والمفقودين بالمنطقة، العميد سعيد بن عوض الأسمري، مدير عام فرع وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية بالمنطقة الشرقية، عبدالرحمن بن فهد المقبل، ورئيس وحدة الاستثمار الاجتماعي بالفرع، خالد بن أحمد العبيد.
وذلك نظير جهودهم واسهاماتهم الفاعلة والمحفزة في خدمة أبناء وبنات ذوي الشهداء والمصابين والمفقودين بالمنطقة، ودعم عجلة التنمية لتحقيق تمكينهم من خلال برامج التدريب والتأهيل وإيجاد فرص العمل، ودعم الخطط المشتركة وتفعيل دور الشراكة المجتمعية مع قيادة المنطقة الشرقية.

وأعرب المقبل عن شكره وتقديره للتعاون الوثيق بين الجهات المعنية، وللجهود المبذولة لخدمة أبناء وبنات الوطن لا سيما ذوي شهداء الواجب، مبينًا أن هذا العمل الذي يقومون به يأتي امتداداً لما توليه حكومة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لشهداء الواجب وأسرهم وذويهم من خلال توظيف أبنائهم وأشقائهم، تكريماً وتقديراً لهؤلاء الأبطال الذين استشهدوا أثناء أداء واجبهم في الدفاع عن بلادهم.

كما تم تكريم العبيد، على جهوده الملموسة والمتميزة وتبنيه لهذا الملف منذ عدة أعوام، وقدم المقبل شكره للعبيد وفريق عمله على مايقومون به من تمكين لأبناء وبنات الوطن وخاصة ذوي الشهداء بالمنطقة.

وشارك في لقاء التكريم، عدد من ذوي شهداء الواجب، حيث عبروا عن سعادتهم بما يجدونه من اهتمام ودعم من حكومة خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده الأمين -أيدهما الله-، والمتابعة التي يجدونها من سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبد العزيز، ونائبه صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير أحمد بن فهد بن سلمان -يحفظهما الله-.
