لولو وتدوير تتعاونان لإطلاق مبادرة إعادة تدوير مخلفات الطعام في المملكة العربية السعودية

أعلنت لولو هايبرماركت، سلسلة التجزئة الرائدة، عن شراكتها مع شركة تدوير للمشاركة في مشروع مبتكرلإعادة تدوير مخلفات الطعام، بهدف تعزيز الاستدامة والإدارة المسؤولة للنفايات . تم توقيع الاتفاقية رسميًا في 23 يناير 2025 ، بحضور ممثلين من كلاالمنظمتين .
تتمحور المبادرة حول جمع مخلفات الطعام من الفنادق والمطاعم والأسواق في المنطقة وتحويلها إلى سماد عضوي، بدعم من مرافق إعادة التدوير المتخصصةالتي تقدمها شركة تدوير .

تشمل العملية عدة مراحل، بما في ذلك جمع النفايات، الفرز، التقطيع، التخمير، وإنتاج السماد النهائي .
