لماذا بدأ ترامب جولته الخليجية بزيارة السعودية؟.. سر اختيار هذا التوقيت

كشف الدكتور أيمن الرقيب، أستاذ العلاقات الدولية، عن سبب اختيار الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، المملكة العربية السعودية، ليبدأ بها جولته الخارجية، وأهدافه من هذه الزيارة.
وقال «الرقيب»، خلال تصريحات خاصة لـ الأسبوع إن ترامب يسعى إلى تطوير علاقاته الاقتصادية مع دول الخليج والبحث عن مصادر تمويل جديدة.
ملف الشرق الأوسطوأضاف أن ملف الشرق الأوسط كان حاضرًا خلال المفاوضات بين الجانبين السعودي والأمريكي، خاصة الحرب على غزة ومستقبل الصراع في القطاع.
وتابع أن المملكة تنوي التنظيم مع دول عربية وغربية لمؤتمر للسلام يونيو القادم، ولذلك فهي في حاجة إلى معرفة موقف الولايات المتحدة.
موقف السعودية من الحرب في غزةوأشار إلى أنه هناك موقف للسعودية قبل وقف الحرب ووجود مسارات واضحة لقيام دولة فلسطينية، والأمريكان سيذهبون إلى رؤية لحل كامل للصراع.
وأكمل: "سنكون بانتظار مخرجات من ترامب، وسيكون هناك مخرجات تجاه الملف السوري والملف الفلسطيني، لكن لا نرى شيء ملموس حتى الآن تجاه وقف الحرب في قطاع غزة".
أعمال القمة الخليجية - الأمريكيةوكانت قد انطلقت أعمال القمة الخليجية - الأمريكية الخامسة في العاصمة السعودية الرياض، بمشاركة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب و الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع، وقادة دول مجلس التعاون الخليجى.
وتتزامن القمة مع جولة الرئيس دونالد ترامب إلى الخليج التي استهلها بالسعودية وتشمل قطر والإمارات، وتمثل هذه الجولة إشارة انطلاق مرحلة جديدة في التعاون بين الولايات المتحدة ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
