She further noted that UNRWA has screened over 240,000 children under five years of age in its clinics since January 2024 and stated that malnutrition in Gaza was rare before the war. A Lebanese newspaper reported on Wednesday that Gaza ceasefire talks have witnessed significant progress over the past two days, with part of the discussions moving from Doha to Cairo, which has added momentum to the negotiations after a period of stagnation. Cairo is currently hosting continuous meetings involving delegations from Egypt, Qatar, and Israel, with active U.S. participation, in an effort to push towards a new agreement. Kan Israeli TV reported that a security delegation from Israel, led by the coordinator of the prisoners file, and involving representatives from the Shabak intelligence service, recently completed a two-day visit to Cairo. Meanwhile, a diplomat quoted by Israeli Broadcasting Authority mentioned, "Progress has been made in the Gaza ceasefire talks, but not all issues have been resolved yet." Palestinian Warning About Israeli Control Over the Ibrahimi Mosque

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today warning of the implications of Israel's imposition of control over the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron. The Ministry considered reports from Israeli media regarding the transfer of management and supervision of the mosque from the Hebron Municipality to a settler council as an unprecedented step aiming to control and Judaize the mosque. The move is also seen as a gross violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions. The Ministry called on UNESCO and the international community to urgently intervene and stop the implementation of this decision, warning of its potential ramifications for religious sites. 70% of Gaza Buildings Suffer Severe Damage

The expert also reported that 84% of buildings have been destroyed in Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahiya, and Jabalia in northern Gaza, 78% of buildings in Gaza City, and 43% in Deir al-Balah. Health Ministry in Gaza Appeals for Medical Truck Convoy

The Health Ministry in Gaza announced that tomorrow, Thursday, a convoy of medical trucks, carrying medical supplies and vaccines for children, will enter Gaza through WHO and UNICEF. The sources mentioned that these efforts are being directly led by Egyptian Intelligence Chief General Hassan Rashad and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in coordination with U.S. envoy Stephen Wittkopf. The sources noted that these efforts are focused on overcoming the obstacles preventing an agreement and ensuring the continuation of negotiations. Israeli General Zamir: "Operation Gideon's Chariots" Achieves Its Goals

Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated during a field visit to Gaza, including areas like Beit Hanoun, that the goals of Operation Gideon's Chariots have been achieved. He confirmed that the Israeli army currently controls around 75% of Gaza. Zamir added, "We are at a crucial crossroads, and it will become clear in the coming days whether we will reach a ceasefire agreement or not. If an agreement is reached, we will stop according to what the political leadership dictates. If not, the direction for the southern command is to intensify and expand the fighting as much as possible." Zamir acknowledged that "the goal is to ensure that Gaza does not pose a threat to Israel for generations to come" but admitted that "the war comes at a heavy price," citing the recent deaths of three soldiers from the 401st Brigade.
