Manama, Bahrain: Bank ABC, one of MENA’s leading international banks, was awarded the ‘Best AI Virtual Assistant in the Middle East’ for its AI-powered, emotionally intelligent digital DNA human, Fatema, for her expanded role as an internal AI assistant for employees. Fatema was recognised among the best AI use cases at the AI World Series Awards 2025.

The event, run by the AI for Business Institute, celebrated the most innovative companies from around the world. After a rigorous evaluation of over 138 submissions from 23 countries, a large panel of independent experts identified the winners who demonstrated AI excellence and generated the most value. The winners were announced at a ceremony in Dubai on October 9th, 2025, which gathered 250 innovation experts and representatives of from various sectors.
