وتناول المجلس مستجدات الأحداث على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية، مجدداً التأكيد على أهمية اتخاذ المجتمع الدولي المزيد من التدابير لوقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، وتوفير الحماية للشعب الفلسطيني، ومحاسبة قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على انتهاكاتها الممنهجة للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، والتأكيد على أن المملكة ستبقى تَنشُد السلام وترعاه مُسًّخِرةً جهودها لكل ما من شأنه إحلال الأمن والسلم في المنطقة.
