نجاح أول عملية استئصالٍ للمريء لمريض مصاب بالسرطان في مستشفيات المانع بالخُبَر

في إنجاز ٍطبيٍّ نوعيٍّ يُجسِّد التقدُّم في تقنيات الجراحة الدقيقة، وبقيادة الدكتور سامي منصور، استشاري جراحة السمنة والجراحة العامة ورئيس قسم الجراحة بمستشفيات المانع، تمكَّن فريقٌ طبيٌّ متخصِّصٌ في مستشفيات المانع بالخُبَر من إجراء أول عملية استئصالٍ للمريء بالمنظار لمريض يبلغ من العمر 54 عامًا، بعد تشخيصه بسرطان في الجزء الأوسط من المرّيء، في إنجازٍ يعزِّز مكانة المستشفى في تقديم الحلول العلاجية المتطوِّرة لمرضى الأورام.

وبدأت رحلة المريض عند مراجعته عيادة الجهاز الهضمي بالمستشفى شاكيًا من صعوبة مستمرّة في البلع؛ ليتم إخضاعه لسلسلةٍ من الفحوصات الدقيقة، تضمَّنت منظارًا وأشعةً مقطعية، كشفت عن وجود ورمٍ سرطانيٍّ في منتصف المريء.

وبعد أربعة أشهر من العلاج المكثَّف، قرَّر الفريق الطبي إجراء عملية استئصال المريء بتقنية المنظار؛ حيث تمَّ نقل المعدة من البطن إلى الصدر؛ لتعويض وظيفة المريء، وهي تقنيةٌ جراحيةٌ متقدِّمةٌ تتطلب مهارةً دقيقةً لضمان نجاح العملية.
وعلى الرغم من تعقيدها واستغراقها عدة ساعات، إلا أن الجراحة أُجريت بنجاحٍ تامٍّ وبدون أي مضاعفات، وتمكَّن المريض من استعادة قدرته على البلع بعد أسبوعٍ واحدٍ فقط من التعافي داخل المستشفى.
وأكد الدكتور سامي منصور، أن هذه العملية تُعدُّ إنجازًا طبيًّا بارزًا، قائلًا: "نجاح أول عملية استئصال للمريء في مستشفيات المانع يُعدُّ خطوةً رائدةً في مسيرة التطوُّر الطبيّ لدينا، وهو إنجازٌ كبيرٌ للمريض وللفريق الطبيّ على حدٍّ سواء."
من جهته، عبَّر مانع المانع، الرئيس التنفيذي لمستشفيات المانع، عن فخره بهذا الإنجاز الطبي غير المسبوق، قائلًا: "هذه العملية تُمثِّل نقلةً نوعيةً في مستوى الرعاية الصحية المقدَّمة لمرضانا، وهي دليلٌ واضحٌ على التزام مستشفيات المانع بتوفير أحدث العلاجات وأكثرها تطورًا."
